Fundraiser!
You are invited to a fun time of stamping, snacking, and chatting. At this workshop, you will learn some great stamping techniques and make two lovely cards to take home with you. Half of the proceeds of the class will go to the Guilford Smith Memorial Library. The class will be presented by Debbie Cipolla, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

11AM - 4PM Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th: Join us for the Victorian Home Tour. We’ll be waiting with lemonade and cookies!
10AM - 12PM Saturday, 12th: "Truck Day" at Jilson Square sponsored by the 3 Windham libraries. Fire trucks, dump truck, cement truck, bus, old Ford trucks, ice cream truck and more!
6:30 PM Thursday, 24th: Popular musician, Jason Altieri, will help us kick-off our Summer Reading Program, “Make a Splash –READ!” Everyone will receive a free beach visor!
10:30 AM Tuesday, 22nd: 5th Annual Pet Show. Everyone gets a prize ribbon!
Toddler Tunes is every Tuesday at 10:30AM. Lots of music, stories and games.
Our library has a children’s activity EVERY WEEK!

We will be closed December 23rd to December 28th. We will re-open on Tuesday, December 29th at 10AM. We will close again on December 30th and re-open Tuesday, Jan. 5th at 10AM.
On Tuesday, Dec. 29th we are having a special program to count down until the 2010 New Year. Join us at 11AM as we have games, stories, crafts, and a very special snack. We'll let all the neighbors of the library know it is 12PM with our noisy parade. We are bringing our pots and pans to bang and you can bring yours too!
Guilford Smith Memorial Library News-
Remember our big book and bake sale is Saturday, November 21st from 9 AM to 2 PM! We'll have holiday plants, wreaths, and centerpieces for sale too. We have a new BARGAIN BOOKS area where all books are 5/$1. You are sure to find something for everyone on your list!
We are looking for Friends of the Library! Do you want to make a difference in your community? Let a staff member know if you would like to volunteer for future fundraisers and programs.

Our semi-annual Book and Bake sale will be Saturday, November 21st from 9AM to 2PM. We have children's books, biographies, cookbooks, self-help, DVDs, books on tape and CD, paperbacks, hardcover, Spanish and Christmas books. Delicious homemade baked gods, pies, and breads will also be available for purchase. Ladd's Garden Center is providing beautiful wreaths, poinsettias, and centerpieces for sale as well. All proceeds will go toward library programs and materials.
You can come to the library now to pre-order your holiday plants.
